In the same year, the WALSER INDUSTRIAL GROUP AG opens up in Switzerland and continues to serve as an important international location.
NEW HEADQUARTER, HOHENEMS

The new headquarter of WALSER GmbH is constructed in Hohenems, Austria.
THE FIRST CAR SEAT COVERS

The first sewing shop for seat covers and textile car interiors starts up in Hohenems.
FOUNDING OF WALSER GMBH

Hans-Karl Walser joins the company and forms the WALSER GmbH company. He broadens the product range with decorative hides, which are used to manufacture the first car seat covers for the distribution outlets of brands such as VW, Audi and BMW.
DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMPANY

With previous business structures a casualty of World War II, Karl Walser had to rebuild the company. He was known throughout the country as a specialist in leather clothing and upholstery.
COMPANY FOUNDATION

Johann Walser founded the company for the treatment of raw hides and skins after World War I.
